Warren man sentenced for crashing into Howland home, killing man inside

Damien Fish, 24, was sentenced Wednesday to spend three days at the Trumbull County Jail, then will be transferred to the Lorain Correctional Institute where he will spend six to nine years behind bars.
Fish must also pay a fine of $375 and his driver's license is suspended for life.
Fish plead guilty earlier to aggravated vehicular homicide and operating a vehicle under the influence.
State troopers said a Honda Civic driven by Fish veered off the 1300 block of DeForest Road and ran into a house on the night of September 23.
The car went through the home's foundation, striking and killing 45-year-old Matthew Burke, who was in the basement.

According to the indictment, the alcohol level in Fish's blood was greater than .204%, which is twice the legal limit to be considered driving under the influence in Ohio.
