A Major League Baseball umpire from Austintown has been sentenced after he was one of 14 men arrested in a sex sting operation last year.

Brian O'Nora, 58, was sentenced last week on amended charges of disorderly conduct. He must pay court costs and fines, including $750 to the Liberty Police Department's drug fund, Girard Municipal Court records show. It's also indicated that O'Nora was cooperative with law enforcement.

He was originally facing charges of possession of criminal tools and soliciting after he was arrested in December of last year as part of a single-day sting operation aimed at stopping the sale of sex on the internet, according to police.
