YOUNGSTOWN - Youngstown CityScape is hosting its annual "Streetscape - the Real STEMulus" Saturday, June 5th from 9 a.m. until Noon at Central Square in Downtown Youngstown.

Over 400 volunteers have signed on to work at Central Square, Federal Street, the John Young Memorials, Wick Park, Smoky Hollow, and locations throughout neighborhoods citywide during the 24th annual event beautifying downtown Youngstown.

Gift cards are being provided to registered participants by lunch sponsors Hill, Barth & King, and Platt Insurance.

"We are so excited to be back with our Streetscape volunteers. Now more than ever, downtown needs our love, care, and attention. We decided to use gift cards for lunch this year to support our downtown restaurants and stay flexible as State COVID guidelines were changing," said Youngstown CityScape Executive Director, Sharon Letson. "At CityScape we're proud of our 24 years of Streetscape community volunteers putting time, talent, and treasure into beautifying the center city and the neighborhoods. We are so grateful for the community's support over the years, and Streetscape always gets spectacular results."

In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday, June 6th, from 9 a.m. until Noon.
