YOUNGSTOWN - Youngstown City Council is being asked to vote on leasing a building that formerly housed the AT&T call center on the city’s West Side.
During this week’s meeting, council will consider leasing the building for three years with a guarantee to buy the building for $550,000.
The legislation identifies the business involved only as Kempthorn and does not reveal the nature of the business.
According to the Ohio Secretary of State’s website, there are several businesses named Kempthorn in the Canton area that include car dealerships and an insurance company.
The Platz Realty website last listed the price of the 26,544 square foot building at $1 million.
