Austintown crash slows traffic along Mahoning Avenue

Some drivers in Austintown may have encountered a traffic accident on their Monday morning commute.

AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - Some drivers in Austintown may have encountered a traffic accident on their Monday morning commute.

An SUV and a car collided along Mahoning Avenue just west of Idaho Road shortly before 7 a.m.

The front of the car was heavily damaged.

Police blocked off the westbound lane while the crash was being investigated.

There were no serious injures.
