Newton Falls Exempted Village students will eat breakfast and lunch for free this school year.
The district is partnering with AVI Food Systems and creating a food court with stations for students to choose from.
Each student will receive one tray per day, including the main dish, fruit, vegetable, and milk.
All K-12 students are eligible for the free meals.
Families should still fill out the Free and Reduced Lunch forms that are passed out at the beginning of the school year.
The free lunches are made possible through USDA waivers.
