Ohio & Mahoning Valley - CVS Health is trying to hire 25,000 people nationwide, and 750 in Ohio during a one-day virtual career event. 

CVS is looking to to fill 750 clinical and retail jobs in the state of Ohio alone during the event on Friday, September 24. 

Most of the positions across Ohio are for full time, part-time, and temporary licensed pharmacists, trained pharmacy technicians, nurses and retail associates. All of these positions are currently in high demand due to flu season support and Covid-19 vaccinations.

The hiring event represents the latest investment in the company's employees who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic. To support their employees, CVS raised the corporate-wide minimum wage to 15 dollars an hour. 

CVS Health employees who refer full time pharmacists or pharmacy technicians that are hired into the company will be eligible for a cash bonus.
