YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Free at-home rapid COVID-19 test kits are back in stock at the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County (PLYMC).

In order to receive a kit, patrons must call the library at 330-744-8636 to reserve a kit, which will then be available for curbside pickup.

Patrons who are homebound and are qualifying patrons of PLYMC's Special Delivery service can also request a kit be delivered to their home by calling 330-792-3869 Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

If patrons are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 symptoms, they should not come to the library to get a kit and instead send a family member to pick it up.

Patrons should take the test at home rather than at the library. A valid email address, internet connection and a device with a webcam are required.

Results will be delivered by digital health solutions provider, eMed 15 minutes after taking the test through the NAVICA app. PLYMC recommends patrons to consult with their physicians about personal health questions or assessments.

To ensure there are enough kits for everyone, PLYMC asks that patrons only request one kit per member of their household. PLYMC does not collect patrons' personal information and only reports the number of kits distributed.
