BOARDMAN, Ohio - Southern Park Mall announced on Tuesday that it has hired Stacey Willis for the role of Manger, Events & Activations on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

Willis will lead town center marketing efforts at the new DeBartolo Commons site, which is set to open in October. As part of her role, she will plan on-property events and activations, work with local media and engage with tenant and the local community.

Southern Park Mall's General Manager, Brian Gabbert says he along with the rest of the mall staff are excited to bring Willis on board.

"Stacey will be an integral part of our work as Goodwill Ambassadors in the Valley. As Manager, Events and Activations, she will be essential to our work to build special events, programs and collaboration opportunities for our community at DeBartolo Commons," Gabbert said.

Willis has accumulated 12 years of experience in marketing, beginning as the Event Sales Manager for Jillian's. Most recently, Willis had worked as Regional Catering Sales and Marketing Manager for CoreLife Eatery, expanding its catering program.

Willis grew up in the Youngstown area and is excited to continue her career in her hometown.
