Two men sentenced in 2018 murder

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Two men were sentenced in court today for the 2018 murder of Christopher Jackson.
Stephon Hopkins was sentenced to 35 years to life in prison while Larice Moore was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison.
Christopher Jackson was murdered on November 18, 2018.
Jackson's grandmother, Barbara Jackson and his sister, Sharonda Carter gave emotional statements in court about Christopher's murder affected their lives and family.
"He didn't get the chance to experience getting his first apartment, going to college, getting married and having children. We will never get to see him grow into manhood because his life was cut short," said Sharonda Carter in court.
Hopkins will serve this sentence along with an additional 25 years to life for the murder of Brandon Wylie.
