YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown murder suspect who is connected to the Plaza View Apartment murder, which happened in June of 2018, has been arrested. 

Twenty-two-year-old Stephon Hopkins has been arrested for his involvement in the murder of 30-year-old Brandon Wylie.

Hopkins was arrested by the United States Marshals on February 2. US Marshals say that Hopkins turned himself in and that they have been searching for Hopkins for weeks now. 

This is the second arrest in connection to the Plaza View Apartment murder. 

Twenty-three-year-old Lorice Moore was arrested on January 11 by the Mahoning Valley Violent Task Force. 

Hopkins is charged with aggravated murder, murder, attempted murder, attempted aggravated murder and felonious assault. 

Moore is charged with aggravated murder, murder, attempted aggravated murder, attempted murder, and felonious assault. 

The shooting occurred the night of June 19, 2018. Police released a video from the night of the shooting and it shows a shooter nonchalantly firing multiple times; police believe those shots killed Wylie at the Plaza View Apartment complex in Youngstown. 

Hopkins and Moore are scheduled to begin their trials on March 25.
