BEREA, Ohio - The Cleveland Browns might be without two top players for their crucial game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

The Browns placed both starting linebacker Anthony Walker Jr and punter Jamie Gillan on the reserve-COVID-19 list Thursday. Both players are doubtful to lace up their spikes this week.

According to the NFL's protocols, any vaccinated player must be asymptomatic and test negative for COVID-19 twice within a 24-hour span to be eligible for the game.

The latest a player can be activated from the COVID-19 list is Saturday at 4 p.m.

Cleveland already placed star tight end and team leader in receiving yards, David Njoku, on the COVID-19 list.

The Browns have a 6-6 record and trail the Ravens who are 8-4 by two games in the AFC North Division. A loss would deal a big blow to the Browns, who are on the ledge of missing the NFL Playoffs.

Walker leads the Browns in tackles this season.

Gillan is the team's only punter. The Browns will need to sign someone to fill his spot on the team roster if he cannot play.
