Newton Falls will be going remote starting Monday, December 20 until winter break ends of January 4.

All K-12 grades will be remote.

Newton Falls superintendent Rocco Aducci sites Covid-19 and substitute staffing issues as the reason for going remote.

Aducci says that there are a number of staff and students who are currently quarantining, and a principal who was just released from quarantine.

There is also a lack of substitute teachers to help fill in staff spots.

Aducci is hoping that all students and staff will return from the break healthy and that things will be able to continue uninterrupted.
