Salem Regional Medical Center reopens public entrances

SALEM, Ohio - Salem Regional Medical Center has reopened all public entrances as of Monday.
According to a news release from the hospital, Visitors and patients are again able to enter the building during designated hours through SRMC’s public entrances, including the main lobby, surgery center, and business office.
Everyone is required to wear a face-covering or mask over their mouth and nose while in the facility.
Current inpatient visitation guidelines remain in effect, which allows for one support person (18 and over) during visiting hours from 7 a.m.- 7 p.m.
Patients arriving at SRMC for outpatient testing or procedures (including those seeking care in the Emergency Department) may have one support person with them while they are in the hospital
Officials ask anyone who is there for a visit who is not feeling well to remain at home and not enter the building.
