SALEM, Ohio - The Salem City School District plans to host a clinic this Friday offering COVID-19 vaccinations to students five years old and older.

The school system announced on its website that the clinic will be held on Friday, February 11, from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Salem High School Library, 1200 East Sixth Street.

The first dose Pfizer pediatric vaccine is available to children ages 5 to 11. Second pediatric doses will be administered to children in that age group with appropriate documentation.

The first and second Pfizer doses are available to students 12 and up. Boosters can be obtained five months after the second dose.

Parents are advised to consult their family physician if they have any questions.

An online form must be completed for each student to receive the vaccine.
