NFL: Overtime rules changing for playoffs
Bother teams are guaranteed a possession in overtime in the postseason.

AP
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA -- NFL owners approved a rule in overtime guaranteeing a possession to both teams in overtime.
The new rule applies only to the postseason.
Beginning this season, if the team possessing the ball first in overtime scores a touchdown on that series, the opponent still gets a possession. In recent seasons, that touchdown would have ended the game.
