Woman arrested with gun at Lowellville emergency ordered to give up firearms

A woman who authorities say came armed to Lowellville Schools during Thursday’s emergency has been ordered to surrender her firearms and undergo a mental evaluation.
Jessica Wolfe, 31, appeared before a judge in Struthers Municipal Court on Friday to answer charges of illegal conveyance of a weapon on school grounds and misconduct in an emergency.
Authorities say Wolfe showed up at the school with a gun in the ready position Thursday morning while police agencies were responding to a report that a student had shot himself.
Police told the court that Wolfe’s action interfered with their efforts to keep the situation under control.
Bail for Wolfe was set at $10,000.
Although she is under house arrest, Wolfe will be able to go to work and able to take her child to school. However, she is prohibited from entering a school building.
Her whereabouts will be monitored by a GPS bracelet.
Another court hearing is set for June 15.
