Men's Rally in the Valley features 'Duck Dynasty' personality at Covelli Centre Father's Day weekend

The Men's Rally in the Valley will be a free, two-day event held Father's Day weekend for all men in The Valley. Saturday's event will feature Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander and American TV personality from Duck Dynasty.
The events will begin Friday, June 17 at 8:30 a.m. when the cross-walk begins, and close at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18 after the guest speakers have finished.
The Men's Rally has made special accommodations with Comfort Suites at 201 Perni Ln. in Youngstown for those who would like to attend, but are out of town. Those interested can call 330-759-3000, mention the Men's Rally and receive a discounted rate.
On Friday, there will be a speakers dinner at the Das Dutch Haus in Columbiana at 5 p.m. One plate cost $20, and those who want to attend must RSVP with Dave Hughes by calling or texting him at 330-692-2468.
On Saturday, the Covelli Centre doors will open at 7 a.m., and the free event will begin at 8:45 a.m. with a call to worship.
Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander, a company selling duck calls, apparel, hunting gear and more, will speak during a segment called "But God" at 9:30 a.m. He is also the best-selling author of The Duck Commander Family: How Faith, Family, and Ducks Built A Dynasty.
Several speakers will follow Robertson including Josh Lytle, Pastor Jeff Swogger, Bob Pavlich, Anwar Fazal and General William Boykin.
Lytle, who went through "12 years of drug use, overdoses, incarceration, guilt and shame," now helps others overcome the same obstacles, according to the Men's Rally website. He will be speaking during the segment titled "God in Control" at 10:20 a.m.
Following Lytle, Pastor Swogger will discuss "God's Principals," Fazal will discuss the "Healing Power of Christ" and General Boykin will discuss "God's Kingdom."
The Men's Rally "exists to bring men together in Christian unity for prayer, fellowship and teaching," according to its website, where more information on the event is available.
