YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A woman was issued a citation in Youngstown Friday evening during a standoff on Bissell Avenue on the north side of Youngstown.

Police say the woman, later identified as Maleka Curry was on the front porch of a neighboring home when police repeatedly ordered her to go back inside her house due to safety concerns.

Police say Curry continued to remain on her porch despite continued warnings from officers to stop acting out resulting in her being handcuffed and escorted to a police cruiser where she was detained.

Upon release, Curry was issued a citation for misconduct at an emergency scene. She appeared in Youngstown Municipal Court on Monday.

At this point, it is unclear whether or not any other suspects were taken into custody at the standoff.
