Canfield Scaregrounds hosting Fill the Truck event for hurricane relief donations
The Canfield Scaregrounds is hosting a Fill the Truck event at the Canfield Fairgrounds to help victims of Hurricane Ian in Florida.

CANFIELD, Ohio - The Canfield Scaregrounds is hosting a Fill the Truck event at the Canfield Fairgrounds to help victims of Hurricane Ian in Florida.
On Sunday, October 16th from 9 am-5 pm, a semi-truck will be on site to be filled with donations.
T-shirts and sweatshirts will also be on sale with 100% of the proceeds going to those in need in southwest Florida.
The below items are being requested:
- Non-perishable food
- Personal hygiene items
- Diapers (Adult, child, toddler, baby)
- Juice
- Flashlights
- Batteries
- Trash Bags
- Baby supplies
- Paper towels
- Paper plates
- Utensils
- Feminine care
- Clothing
- Shoes
- Nutrition shakes
- Water
- Gatorade
- Over the counter medical supplies
The event is being conducted in concert with the non-profit volunteer organization, Cajun Navy Relief which offers relief during natural disasters.
