Slippery roads were just as bad if not worse for drivers in Ashtabula County during Wednesday morning's commute.

Among the traffic accidents being investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol is one along Route 7 just about a mile north of Trumbull County.

Troopers tell 21 News that a car traveling north slid along some slush, off the road, landing in a pond near Tidd Road in Williamsfield Township.

A rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

The driver managed to get out of the partially submerged car unharmed.
