The Canfield & South Range football teams advanced to their respective state championship games with dominating wins tonight.

The (13-1) Cardinals advanced to their second championship game in school history and the (15-0) Raiders their first.

South Range ties the 2010 & 2008 Ursuline and 1999 Poland team who were also 15-0.

Canfield got four touchdowns from Broc Lowry, all in the first half on runs of 50, 24, 75 and 1 yard for a 28-7 halftime lead and led the Cardinals to a 38-21 win. The Indiana recruit rushed for more than 200 yards.

Billy Skripac threw four touchdown passes to lead the Raiders to a 35-0 win.  He was 14 of 18 for 263 yards.

Canfield plays Bloom Carroll at 3:00pm Friday, and the Raiders face Ironton at 10:30 am
