Dave Grohl to be featured in 'Orbit' comic book series

Foo Fighters frontman, former Nirvana drummer and former Valley native, Dave Grohl will be added to the popular "Orbit" comic book series.
The 22-page comic will be available both in print and digital formats and can be found on multiple platforms such as Amazon digitally, and in paperback and hardcover formats.
The comic will take readers through the life of Grohl from playing with beloved rock stars such as Iggy Pop, his numerous appearances on Saturday Night Live, his drum faceoff with Animal from The Muppets and much more.
"Diving into the genius of Dave Grohl can only be described in one word: awe. His life and body of work are an incredible story to explore," said comic writer, Adam Rose.
The Orbit series has profiled plenty of legendary musicians including Paul McCartney, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, George Harrison, Alice Cooper, David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne and many more.
Grohl has ties to the Mahoning Valley as a former Warren native with an alleyway dedicated to him in the city. Grohl also performed live at The Record Connection in Niles in 2015 for Record Store Day.
