1998: Labor agreements reached between Forum Health, the Trumbull County commissioners, and unions representing nurses and service workers at Hillside Hospital in Howland Township clear the way for the sale of the hospital by the county to Forum.

1983: FBI Agent Robert Kroner testifies that Mahoning County Sheriff James A. Traficant Jr. was surprised when agents played a tape recording of Traficant meeting with mobsters Orland and Charles Carabbia because he had earlier told agents that he did not know the Carabbias. Traficant is charged with bribery and tax evasion.
