Bedsure Electric Heating Blankets and Pads were recalled Thursday, March 9 after over 100 reports of fires and burns were made.

About 137 reports said the blankets and pads caused fires, burns, melting and overheating that caused damages in homes. At least 17 people reported burn related injuries and one person reported second-degree burns.

The recall includes about 350,000 throw, twin and full size flannel and sherpa blankets.

Blankets were sold in sizes of 50" X 60", 62" X 84" and 72" X 84", and recalled heating pads were sold in sizes of 12" X 24", 24" X 22" and 24" X 33".

The product was sold online through Amazon and BedsureHome.com from August 2022 to November 2022.

All consumers using this product are urged to stop immediately by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. 

To get a refund for the recalled product, consumers must provide photos of the blanket or pad and follow the instructions available on Bedsure's website.
