A non-profit in Youngstown has been forced to shut down due to an ongoing power outage.

The St. Vincent DePaul Society and Dining Hall on Mount Carmel Avenue is temporarily closed until further notice.

Members there have been in the dark since Saturday when devastating storms and winds moved through the Mahoning Valley.

The power outage forced them to throw out all of their food.

Once the power comes back on, the St. Vincent DePaul Society will have to buy new food to help feed the 200 people they serve daily.
