YOUNGSTOWN - A sobriety checkpoint held over the weekend in Youngstown resulted in four arrests. 

The checkpoint was conducted on Friday, April 14 on Mahoning Avenue at Fernwood Avenue from 10p.m. until 2a.m. by the Mahoning County OVI Task Force and the Ohio State Highway Patrol. 

Youngstown, Beaver, Canfield, Milton, Poland Township, Sebring and Smith Township task force agencies all participated in the checkpoint. 

A total of 374 vehicles passed through the checkpoints, and nine vehicles were directed to the diversion area for further investigation. 

There was a total of four OVI arrests made, one summons for an open container, one citation for reckless operation and one citation for driving under suspension.
