Boardman's Bermann Electric closing after 95 year run
The days are counting down for owners of a long-time Valley business that has decided to close.
According to a social media post, Bermann Electric will close this fall after nearly a century of providing interior and exterior lighting fixtures to customers.
The 4,000-square-foot showroom on Boardman Canfield Road in Boardman will close on September 30th, according to the post.
The family-owned and operated business, which has been around since 1928, recently celebrated its 95th anniversary which was recognized with a resolution passed by the Ohio General Assembly.
Company President Michael Madej noted that the business is on its third generation of family management.
“We are so grateful for the patronage and support from all of you. So, if you have a need or a want stop in to see us and support us. We welcome all to stop in and say goodbye,” says Madej.
