Police investigate after box that 'may or may not explode' left at Warren Family Dollar

Police in Warren are looking for a man who they say told Family Dollar employees he may have planted an explosive in their store.
Monday morning, a store manager at the West Market Street Family Dollar called police in reference to a man that was attempting to steal items. According to a police report, another store employee noticed the man stealing. That employee made an announcement, stating that the store was under video surveillance.
The report says at this point, the man made his way to the front of the store. There, employees tell police he placed a shoe box wrapped in a white t-shirt and bungee cord under a row of shopping carts.
The man told employees the box 'may or may not explode,' the report says.
Police say the man then walked across the street to a fast food chain, where he stood and watched the Family Dollar from afar.
Once officers arrived on scene, the report says they removed the box and examined it. Inside they found a few toys and a ten pound bag of sugar. According to the report, officers disposed of the box and moved on to identifying the suspect.
Their suspect is a tall, thin white male wearing a maroon hoodie with grey pants and tennis shoes. Officers searched the area surrounding the store and fast food chain, but did not find him.
