SLIDESHOW: Dog found shot, starved in Youngstown thriving with new family
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Back in September of 2022, 21 News reported on a dog named Bandit who was found shot and emaciated on Youngstown's north side. Now, the Mahoning County Dog Warden has provided some happier news on Bandit.
According to a post on the Mahoning County Dog Warden's Facebook page, the Dog Warden caught up with Bandit who has since been adopted and "living his best life."
Just months ago, Bandit was found wounded and underfed in a shed on Burlington Street. Vets say a bullet went through the back of his head and out the side of his neck.
Today, Bandit is living it up with his new forever family on a beach trip, from which his family provided the Dog Warden with plenty of pictures. These pictures can be seen in the slideshow above.
21 News is working to learn if any suspects have been found or any charges have been filed in relation to this case.
