Boardman police respond to large fight at Quaker Steak & Lube

BOARDMAN, Ohio - Officers with the Boardman Police Department responded to what was described as a "large melee" in both the dining room and on the patio of Quaker Steak & Lube Monday evening.
According to a police report, the fight started when customers began to argue with management about their orders taking too long. Police say management asked the customers to leave the premises, which they did.
Police say management did not request any trespassing charges or warnings be filed against the customers.
Officers on scene say another customer was recording the incident on his phone while verbally arguing with the customers.
This customer told police that both he and his wife were threatened by one of the argumentative customers when she allegedly said she would "blow them away" when he started recording, which was taken to be a threat of physical harm.
Police asked the customer to review the video to verify if the alleged threat was captured on video and save a copy if it was. Police say the customer left the business before they were made aware of the alleged threat.
No arrests have been made.
