One person life-flighted after one-vehicle crash in Columbiana Co.
LISBON – The Ohio State Highway Patrol Lisbon Post is investigating a one-vehicle crash on State Route 7 near milepost 13 in Madison Township that occurred at around 2:30 pm Wednesday.
According to the state patrol, a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling southbound on State Route 7 and traveled off the west side of the road, striking a tree, fence, tree, and then overturned, partially ejecting the driver.
The troopers say the driver of the vehicle was Robert Householder, 76, of East Liverpool, Ohio was flown to a hospital in Youngstown with serious injuries.
According to police, Householder was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. He had to be freed from the vehicle by firefighters on scene.
Assisting on the scene was St Clair Fire and Police, Madison Township Fire, West Township Fire, Glenmoor Fire, Calcutta Fire and Life Team EMS.
