Fitch softball standout Watts commits to Georgia Tech

She led the Falcons to the Division I State Championship in 2022

Sydnie Watts is heading to Georgia Tech to continue her softball and academic careers.

Ranked #1 among pitchers in Ohio by Max Preps.com, Watts was a Third Team All American selected by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and was voted the seventh best pitcher in the country.

As a sophomore, she had 281 strikeouts, posted 14 shutouts, seven no hitters and two perfect games.

Two years into her career she has 595 strikeouts, 23 shutouts, 11 no hitters and three perfect games with an 0.62 earned run average.
