Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and grocery stores in the Valley are stocking their shelves with those favorite fixings.

Cornersburg Sparkle Market manager, Brian Gorup, said their supply is robust in comparison to last year. 

"Last year there might have been a little bit of a shortage, but this year we have not had much of a shortage." Gorup said.

According to a 2023 Wells Fargo thanksgiving report, turkey prices dropped 9% this year. While the cost of some side dishes increased.

At Rulli Bros. they are trying to limit any price hikes for customers. Mark Rulli said they will be selling 89 cent turkeys on Nov. 14.

Meijers will be combating inflation by offering 59 cent turkeys per pound beginning the week of November 12th.
