Beaver Township Police investigating car vs. cyclist hit skip crash
BEAVER TWP., Ohio - Police in Beaver Township are currently investigating a hit and run crash involving a car and a bicyclist Thursday evening.
According to a police report, officers responded to a scene on the 9300 Block of Sharrott Road shortly after 5:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found a male victim lying in the roadway. The male told police that he was riding his bicycle northbound on Sharrott Road when he was struck by a vehicle that was also traveling northbound.
The male told officers that he did not know what type of vehicle it was, but said it did not stop and instead continued northbound headed towards Boardman.
The male's current condition is unknown at this time.
Police began a search for the vehicle, but were unable to locate it. No arrests have been made at this time.
