WARREN, Ohio - One of the suspects in a deadly Warren fire that killed a 16-year-old girl appeared in court.

A final pretrial hearing was set for March for Brendan Daviduk, 30, who is one of three people charged in the arson that claimed the life of Chassidy Broadstone on January 19, 2023.

Zachary Gurd, who was accused of bringing a gas can to the Nevada Avenue home, took a plea deal last month for his charges in the case.

A third suspect, Patricia Zarlingo, has a court date set for February.

Daviduk faces charges of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder and aggravated arson.
