Police have arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown man in connection with a shooting on the city’s Southside.
Joshua Mahone was released from jail Wednesday after he was arraigned on a charge of felonious assault.
Mahone was charged in connection with last Thursday’s shooting at a home on Lakewood Avenue.
The Youngstown Police Department is investigating after a male was shot in the back Thursday night.
According to a police report, police found the male victim laying on the living room floor stating that he had been shot in the back.
The male was transported to the hospital where police say a bullet was recovered during surgery on the victim. Police say the victim was in stable condition at the time.
