New Castle candy store closing after 79 years in business
After catering to people with a sweet tooth all over the New Castle area for more than three-quarters of a century, the owner of Jameson Candy has announced that they will be closing.

NEW CASTLE, Pa. - After catering to people with a sweet tooth all over the New Castle area for more than three-quarters of a century, the owner of Jameson Candy has announced that they will be closing.
The business, which has been serving homemade candy in New Castle since 1945, revealed on its website and Facebook page that it will be closing sometime late this summer.
Until then, the store at 3451 Wilmington Road will remain open Tuesday through Saturday and will be in production and open for this coming Easter.
