YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Work is underway in Youngstown on Powers Way as crews clean up some large piles of asphalt.

There were complaints to the city from surrounding neighbors as the pile began spilling out onto the sidewalk in front of the Yashphalt company.

It's not the first time the city has dealt with a problem like this on the business's property.

Just last year, the City and EPA worked to clean up another pile.

"They got on the job really quickly yesterday and removed the asphalt from the sidewalk and this morning they already took three dump truck loads away," Bob Burke, Litter and Recycling coordinator for Green Youngstown, told 21 News.

Burke says piles on the back side of the business could take a few more days to remove but the business is cooperating with the City and the EPA.
