Potential Development to close April 8 for solar eclipse

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Students at Potential Development will not have to worry about missing the solar eclipse on April 8.
According to a press release, Potential Development will be closed on Monday, April 8 for the Solar Eclipse, which is scheduled to happen around 2:00 p.m. with the total eclipse commencing around 3:15.
Potential Development CEO Paul Garchar says this will add one extra day to the school's spring break.
"It's important and exciting for our students to experience the solar eclipse, so extending our spring break by one day gives families the opportunity to plan some activities to safely view it," Garchar said.
Austintown Schools also announced that it is planning to close for the solar eclipse.
