The US Senate Race in November will be Republican Michael Rulli against Democratic challenger Michael Kripchak of Youngstown.

Hernandez has beaten Frenchko by a total of 11,711 votes, or 59.34% of the vote.

The winner in the race for Columbiana County Sheriff is incumbent Brian McLaughlin, easily defeating challenger John Williams, 10,259 to 3,114 votes.

The final vote was 60.14% for and 39.86% against.

The Columbiana County Regional Park District's additional tax of 0.35 mill was defeated Tuesday by voters.

The final vote for the new 0.73-mill 5-year renewal levy was 73.83% for and 26.17% against.

According to the Trumbull County Board of Elections, the unofficial results are that the levy failed 668 to 479.
