Spring football may not be coming to Ohio anytime soon but players from five area schools went through drills for more than 30 college coaches from all levels.

The day started at 6:00 am Ursuline, then to Struthers at 8:00 am and to Chaney at 10:00am.

Following a lunch break Austintown Fitch was on display at 1:00pm followed by Canfield at 3:00pm.

Players went through a series of drills, both offensively, defensively and special teams.

"To bring these coaches in and to show there's good football here," said Falcons coach TJ Parker.

"To have the coaches go from school to school is good for all involved," he continued.

Coaches form Divisions I, II & III all trying to find their next group of players.

For the kids it was like gameday according to Parker.

"They were pumped up in the locker-room and got all the jitters out and its really exciting for them to be able to do this in the spring," concluded Parker.
