One of Youngstown's most well-known bands will be honored by the city and Mahoning County ahead of a show at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre.

Left End will receive a proclamation from the City of Youngstown and a "Rockamation" from the Mahoning County Commissioners. The proclamation will be presented Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Amphitheatre.

Left End and Youngstown's Houseband are bringing a new rendition of Idora Park's "Spring Thing" to the Amphitheatre on Sunday, May 26.

The bands are teaming up to play music from Idora Park's historic concerts. The Houseband will play several Michael Stanley Band's songs during their set to commemorate the sold-out 1981 "Spring Thing" show.

A special music and video tribute will recognize the national and regional bands that performed at Idora Park.

Tickets for the "Spring Thing" concert are on sale for $29.50-$75.00.
