JFCS still accepting participants for 10-week survivors of suicide support group

YOUNGSTOWN – Jewish Family & Community Services (JFCS) is still accepting participants for its new 10-week survivors of suicide support group for those who have lost a loved one to suicide.
The group will meet from Noon to 1 PM every other Monday for 10 weeks beginning on Monday, June 3, at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, 505 Gypsy Lane. To register, contact Laura at 330-746-7929, ext. 243 or lhaas@jewishyoungstown.org. There is a limit of 10 participants, who will meet in this closed group every other week for 10 weeks.
Losing a loved one to suicide is a painful and complex experience that can leave survivors grappling with intense emotions, questions, and feelings of isolation. This support group provides a safe and understanding space for individuals who have lost someone to suicide.
This support group is made possible in partnership with the Mahoning County Mental Health & Recovery Board.
