NEW WATERFORD, Ohio - The Village of New Waterford will receive a loan of over $50,000 over the course of five years for upgrades to a water storage tower in the village.

The village will receive a total of $50,400 at 1.75% over the course of five years for improvements to a 200,000-gallon water storage tower on Hatcher Road in order to extend the useful life of the tower.

This funding is part of $40.7 million in financing from the Ohio Water Development Authority (OWDA) for a total of 20 projects across the state.

The aim of OWDA's Fresh Water Loan Program is to improve wastewater and drinking water infrastructure and make water quality improvements across Ohio.
