Oak Hill Collaborative announces Digital Learning Center in Springfield Township

Oak Hill Collaborative is expanding into Springfield Township with its Rural Mahoning County Digital Learning Center.
The center will host digital education workshops and classes in the New Middletown fire station.
Students will gain hands-on technology skills and learn crucial skills for the workforce advancement, personal interests, educational development and more.
"Springfield Township residents deserve the same opportunities as other areas," said Springfield Township Trustee Josh Wiery. "Through these classes, we can educate them on the significance of digital access and online resources."
Classes begin July 10 and are free to the public, regardless of residency.
Springfield Township residence that go to five of the classes will qualify for a free refurbished laptop and other accessories through the organization's Hardware for Homes Program.
"We really like to go out there and put our best foot forward and help educate people on why it's important that they have access to these resources and make it easier for them to get access to these resources for their own betterment," said Elizabeth Coss, a digital navigator for the Oak Hill Collaborative.
