A Farrell woman who has been in the Trumbull County Jail since mid-July has pled guilty to stealing more than $10,000 from a 99-year-old military veteran from Brookfield.
Felicia Splitstone, 35, pled guilty to charges of theft from a protected class, receiving stolen property and forgery. She is set to be sentenced following a pre-sentencing investigation.
Investigators claim Splitstone confessed to using the veteran's credit cards and forging his signature when she was his caretaker.
Tuesday's Trumbull County Common Pleas Court pre-trial was changed to a plea hearing after Splitstone's attorney withdrew a motion to suppress evidence.
