State Fiscal Commission to vote on Vienna Township financial recovery plan
Township trustees approved the plan last week on December 23, which includes adding a 3.5 mil fire levy on next May's ballot and continued use of speed cameras by the police department.
VIENNA TWP., Ohio - A meeting will be held in Vienna Township Monday evening for the State Fiscal Commission to either approve or deny Vienna Township's financial recovery plan.
Township trustees approved the plan last week on December 23, which includes adding a 3.5 mil fire levy on next May's ballot. If passed, that levy would replace two existing 1 mil levies and could bring in $430,000 to $500,000 each year.
The plan also includes continued use of speed cameras by the police department.
The meeting will be held in the Vienna Township Hall 5:30 p.m. Monday.
