A second victim of a mass shooting at a company outside Columbus, Ohio has died.

New Albany Police say five people were shot late Tuesday at KDC/ONE, a cosmetic manufacturing facility.

Police have apprehended the suspected shooter, identified as 28-year-old Bruce Reginald Foster III, following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Columbus, Ohio.  

New Albany Police Department Chief Greg Jones confirmed that over 100 cruisers from various agencies responded to the scene.

Officers discovered five individuals with gunshot wounds, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene.  Another victim has since died, bringing the death toll to two.  The remaining victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment. 

Chief Jones confirmed that approximately 150 employees were in the building at the time of the shooting.  All were safely evacuated to a nearby facility.

The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. 

Authorities confirmed that the suspect purchased the firearm, a Glock 26 9mm pistol, legally in September 2024. The ATF is tracing the firearm to determine its purchase history.
