Second man on trial for Warren shooting death
The charges stem from the death of 29-year-old Kardell Lowery who was shot several times at an apartment on the 1300 Block of Fifth Street SW in July of 2024.

WARREN, Ohio - A trial is underway in a Trumbull County Courtroom for the second man charged in connection with a deadly shooting in Warren.
Tyree Brown, 29, is charged with aggravated murder and burglary in connection with the death of 29-year-old Kardell Lowery who was shot several times at a Fifth Street SW apartment on July 10.
Co-defendant, 29-year-old Michael Williamson, has already been sentenced to 20-to-25 years in prison after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery.
Common Pleas Court Judge Cynthia Wescott Rice has granted a motion from assistant prosecutor Gabe Wildman to have an alleged victim in the case testify by closed circuit TV.
